New things I’ve learnt along the way.


I have been meditating for about a month now so am very much still a newbie. I have found it has helped me with my anxiety so much, just the grounding feeling that I haven’t had for while, taking time to do nothing yet do something just for me. I use some guided meditations on YouTube and I have the mindfulness app that I find helpful but I don’t use it all the time if I am honest. I like to use a shamanic beat and native American music as I find it really calming and it help regulate my breathing. there is so many techniques and tips, tutorials and books you can use but I find the best place for me to meditate is in my garden with music playing low in the background. Just pay attention to your breathing and feel the breath travel all through your body, express gratitude for life and love for the universe. be grounded in the moment and sit and breath for as long as you feel you need to, some days ten minutes others half an hour. What your body needs it will tell you and everyone has their own experiences with meditation that is the beauty of it, find your own path and what makes you comfortable. just take a moment each day to be grateful for who you are and what you have it can make you feel great whatever time or however many times a day you do it.
